The San Diego Food Truck Association (FTASD) is a network of San Diego’s premier street food vendors, bringing together a diverse, vetted group of culinary professionals who serve the greater San Diego area.
FTASD believes great food brings people together. The association connects residents, businesses, and event organizers with trusted food-truck caterers while advocating for and preserving San Diego’s vibrant street-food culture.

Advocacy and Empowerment
The San Diego Food Truck Association supports local food truck businesses through two core initiatives.
First, FTASD helps members grow their businesses by creating access to valuable catering opportunities, private events, and other revenue-generating channels. Founded by former food truck owner Ben Goldberg, the association understands the challenges of relying solely on daily street sales. By connecting members with consistent booking opportunities throughout the year, FTASD helps vendors build more stable businesses while expanding their reach within the San Diego community.
Second, FTASD serves as a dedicated advocate for the local food truck industry. The association works closely with city and state officials to represent the interests of its members and promote policies that support the continued growth of mobile food businesses. By staying informed on legislative and regulatory developments, FTASD ensures that the voices of San Diego's food truck operators are represented in discussions that shape the future of the industry.

How do I book a food cart?
Booking a food cart with FTASD is easy! Simply select your service, tell us a little bit about your event or branded promotion, and select your food cart. One of our members will reach out to you ASAP to finalize the details.
